What a great traditional pub, warm welcome by the locals and a great selection of beers. If I lived near it would definitely be my local.

A gorgeous, quirky, cosy, interesting, one of a kind bar. Very small, real lig fire, coat hangers found on the walls, sides of the bar and tall tables, filled with wonderful beer mats from floor to ceiling with plenty more other things to look at. This pub is like no other, with speciality beers and ciders too.

Called in here to meet up with family members & have a couple of drinks whilst in Lincoln. This is my aunts local & it is a very popular place. Be prepared to squeeze past people to get to the bar. We sat outside in the yard where there was ample space & within metres of Lincoln Castle wall. Dog friendly. Great atmosphere.

As we were staying close by a drop in for a drink was our reason to visit. Traditional old school pub with little change in many years I suspect. Nice selection of real ales served at I would like to think the correct temperature, instead of the usual iced cold in most pubs. Plenty of awards for pub of the year to indicate how good it is.

Proper pub, drinks are the priority, limited food options. Well worth a visit.

Bonkers-busy local boozer with the best real ale you are ever likely to find. Very friendly staff and locals and also super dog friendly. Cosy atmosphere with an open fire (). If you love great beer you need to try and squeeze in here.

Top pub! Literally on the highest of Lincoln's trek to the cathedral....well worth the walk. Friendly service and a good crowd of folks to make you feel welcome Especially a local beer from Uddersfield...never herd of it
